The Hire Industry in NZ combined, are the largest fleet owners of Plant and Equipment. The Association advocates, educates and empowers its members to become the preferred sustainable solution for equipment and event needs.
We are the very first "Shared Economy." in New Zealand, having provided the right to use our Plant and Equipment since the first ever Hire shop opened.
The association has a duty of care through it's members to ensure the users of hired equipment are safe. The Silvercard™ MEWP and Forklift Training Program is focused at ensuring all operators know how to use the equipment safely but also to assist others in identifying a competent operator on site.

EWP & Forklift Silvercard courses are specifically designed to ensure that operators of
Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs) and Forklifts have adequate knowledge and are competent to use the equipment. Participants may complete one or several EWP and Forklift courses depending on the work they intend to under-take.
