New Zealand Red Cross
Our mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilising the power of humanity and enhancing community resilience.
New Zealand Red Cross is proud to be the world's leading first aid training provider – we train over 23 million people every year! It is important for us to empower others with the skills to save lives and build resilience in our communities.
New Zealand Red Cross is a humanitarian network of more than 10,000 members, volunteers and staff working to support people from the Far North to the deep south.
Our work is focused on preparing for and responding to disasters and emergencies, supporting refugees as they rebuild their lives, and providing community services such as delivering Meals on Wheels.
We also offer First Aid training and run 50 Red Cross Shops, both of which help fund our humanitarian work.
