Learning From Normal Work to Build Better Work
What's happening, when nothing bad is happening?
Why has safety always been measured by the presence or absence of harm?
What if there was a way of understanding normal work without waiting for near misses, incidents or accidents to happen. That allowed us the opportunity to improve our safety systems to support successful everyday work. Imagine listening to our workers, hearing their stories about how work Is really done to better understand the true nature of the safety of work.
This session will explore simple and practical ways to engage with the frontline to gain worker insights that led to building better work.
