Working at heights comes with inherent risks that are hard to eliminate and at times minimise. The use of MEWP’s (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) goes a long way in mitigating risk. Rodney Grant is the CEO of three plant and equipment Associations, The Hire Industry Association (HIANZ), Elevating Work Platform Association (EWPA) and the New Zealand Forklift Industry Association (NZFIA). We advocate on behalf of our members for consistently high and improving standards towards design, supply, operator training, and operation of plant and equipment.
